Are the parts off a Valkyrie compatible with our GL1500's ?
Does anyone know if the final drive is geared differently for the Valk vs the Wing?
The post 1990 version of the GL1500 Goldwing ...
Will they simple bolt in -- ?

Which parts? I'm more familiar with the Valkyries than the GW, but am learning, since I ride a GW now.

I haven't compared parts side-by-side, but the 90'-00' 5 pin drive flange seems to be the same, which should include the dampeners.

As for the whole rear end, they are not interchangeable.

Just posted in the VRCC forum on the rear brake rotor of the 90'-00' GW and the 97'-98' Valkyrie is the same rotor. There should be no reason that the newer upgraded rotor of the 99'-03' Valkyrie shouldn't work also.

I'm going to measure the width of the GW and Valkyrie rear rim and see if they are the same. I need to pick up my Auston Taxi tire from the mail house and get it mount on a rim and on my bike this winter to try out a CT.

Check out VRCC (I think that's it) website. I seem to recall reading on there that the Valkyrie is geared differently in the transmission and final drive. The Valkyrie requires more RPMs for a given speed IIRC.
