gl1500 center clutch holder

I am about to do a clutch job on a gl1500 and a tool needed is a clutch center holder honda part #07hgb-001000a it is discontinued and not available since 2002. Does anybody know of a replacement part # or of a different tool I could use...Thank you !!

I have done so much with so little, I can do anything.

i googled the part number there might be some companies that still have it and there is a guy that shows you how he made a tool hope that helps

All this does is hold the clutch in place while you torque the nut. You can use a strap wrench around it to do the same thing, or just put the bike in first gear and tighten against the engine compression.
