GL1500 CB Switch

Postby mikelens » Thu Jan 15, 2015 9:30 am

I've been toying with the idea of adding a CB to my '90 1500. Looking on Ebay saw the handle bar controls. Anyone know what the "Tune" switch "H - M" does?
Thanks Guys

Not sure what you mean. Does it look like this?

Here's the image you're talking about (for when the eBay auction ends and goes away):

That switch is for the radio, not the CB. The bottom part (Talk/CH) is the CB, the top part is to adjust the radio channel, and the button on the right mutes the radio audio. On bikes with cassette, pressing the tune button down also switches the tape side.

OK. Thanks for clarifying. This replaces my current radio control switch & combines it with CB controls. Much appreciated.

That's correct Dennis. The earlier models didn't have a light in the handlebar mounted cb switch. Mine was the same way.
