Right handlebar control plug

Postby nvirgilio » Sun Mar 15, 2015 5:48 pm

Searched these forums and web with no answers. I own a 1992 GL1500A. My wife accidentally grabbed the wire while getting off the bike and pulled the plug cover boot and the 4 female connectors off the right handle bar control at the lower front position. Instead of a 4 position female plug, it's a rubber boot with 4 individual female connectors, 2 large and 2 small. Any idea which wire goes where. The top smaller ones are to the brake lights and don't know if polarity counts. Not sure about the larger bottom 2. Bike starts, reverse works, kill switch works with the 2 larger ones disconnected as well as the "Cruise control on" light lights on dash also. Don't know what else the lower wires can be controlling.

Polarity does not matter. Those two wires are for the front brake cruise cancel feature.
This is what I do
