Rear Shock

Postby jimsgoldwing » Sun Mar 22, 2015 10:21 am

While changing my rear tire, (thanks WingAdmin), I removed my left shock and found the upper bushing enlongated and the lower bushing, for the most part, missing. Is there a repair kit for this shock? The bike only has 29,000 miles on it, so i believe the shock itself should be good.

Thanks, Jim.

Check the lower shock bolt for the inner sleeve seized to bolt, not all that uncommon to happen. If seized solid just reuse as is if everything is still pretty much within specs and not badly worn.
This is what I do
