Thermostat Housing Bolts

I was lucky enough to get all (3) thermostat housing bolts out without breaking them. Does anybody know what the bolt torque requirements are?

Good question!

After looking through the Honda Service manual, I couldn't find a torque value for those 3 bolts.

Under the Standard Torque Values chart in the Specifications Chapter they list a general torque value of 15 ft lbs for a 8 mm bolt/nut and 25 ft lbs for 10 mm bolts/nuts.

I would apply some anti seize to the bolt threads before re installing them and ease off a couple of ft lbs on each bolt.

Thanks.
I purchased new bolts and will use anti-sieze on them.

So I guess I won't use my standard torque of 1\4 turn before the bolt snaps!
