Can't open hatch ??

Postby purchelli » Mon Apr 06, 2015 5:49 am

Hi, my 2000 SE has one small storage hatch under each handle grip. On my bike the left hand one is accessible through a leather cover no problem. The one on the right takes the ignition key which seems to activate the lock but won't open. Is there a trick to getting this open ??

They can be hard to remove, But as long as the key turns the lock then a little wiggling should remove it.

As long as the key turns, it has unlocked. Mine is quite stiff - it takes a bit of wiggling to get it to release. Not the greatest design, the clearances are a bit tight.
