This may sound like a stupid question, but are your brights on? They are deactivated when ever the brights are activated. I was wondering what went wrong with mine until I noticed I had bumped the bright switch.

They are cornering lights and on the 1500 each comes on steady when you use that side's turn signal regardless of high or low beam headlights.

According to the year model you have. Before 1998 the side came on on the site the turn signal was activated on. The 98, 99 and the 2000 se models both came on when the switch can on.
