Key to the accessory position, radio off. Use the tuning button to set the hour and minutes.

Not on my 2000. The knob on the right side of the instrument panel. Next to the tach. Turned one way sets hours, the other way sets minutes. :D

I thought cool, I didn't know this. Went outside to try it, had to wait for my LCD to work seeing as it rained here last night, but no go. I guess OP was asking a question without using a question mark..

But first you have to wait for the 200 mph clock to return to normal clock operation. I have on of those pesky humidity problemed clock, seems to be worse since I replaced the bulbs, oh well turn up the volume and ride! :D

Owners manual tells me the same thing. Up on tuning button for minutes, down for hours.

May have been a change prior to 98. I had one of each and both worked the same way. :D Lots of small changes over the years, but still the best bike out there. :) I just looked at a 93 on Ebay and it has the same knob as mine does.

My 89 uses the knob on the right side of dash display as well...
