Rear master cyl resirvior hose?

Postby n5926g » Mon May 25, 2015 1:31 pm

Finally got that master cylinder out,and noticed the line between it and the reservoir is nasty, cloth covered, and brittle...Bike is 25 years old,so I knida expected that...anyway,Need suggestions as to what to replace it with.Since there is no real pressure on the line,I guess whatever I use has to be brake fluid friendly.....?????

Somewhere on this site is a member who sells HEL stainless brake lines, perhaps he can do something for you, just so that you too can talk funny ;) , but it still will not cure your desire to ride on the opposite side to where civilised people go.

The world is not going to finish today, as it is already tomorrow in Australia and New Zealand, and other islands of foreign nations such as Guam and Samoa.

I had to do the same thing on my GL1100, I just bought a small length of brake line hose at NAPA that was the correct diameter and put it in its place.

No, I didn't bother - it was weathered and looked terrible.
