I am sure 200,000 is not out of reach for most, some will go a lot further. I suspect some folks will jump in to report in excess of 300 or even 400K.

I've heard stories about a couple of different 1500's in Minnesota, owned by two brothers. One has 825,000 and the other has 850,000. I have a friend that used to have one that ran and looked new, had 256,000 on it.

From what I've read, take good care of her, and you can pretty much ride her till the wheels fall off.

I agree with the previous posts, these bikes will last. My 1990 has 136k on the odometer and runs as well today as it did in 1990 I'm sure. My 1981 1100 had over 300k on it when I sold it, new owner loves it.

The two wings here in MN are owned by a couple of brothers. one bike has over 850,000 miles and the other has over 450,000, both are 2000 SE models. One of the brothers stops in were I work about once a month or so. To my knowledge neither bike engine or clutch has been rebuilt, both bikes are ridden year round and the one with 850,000 has a side car for those snowy days.
