Changing spark plugs on 1999 Goldwing

Postby par4ugolf » Thu Jul 01, 2010 9:26 am

I know where they are and what needs to be removed to get at them. The problem is that I have had that part of the fairing loosened up to replace the side light bulbs, but the section of the fairing did not seem to want to come off or be taken out of the way to get at the plugs and I reallly don't want to break something trying to replace the sparkplugs. Is there something else that needs to be removed to do this?

Are you sure all the screws were removed. I know some times I'm caught with that. Think I have them all and then there is one hidden holding me up. Try this for info:

Thanks for this info and I only wish I had it sooner, but will keep for the future. I did get all the screws, but probably didn't do things in the best order. I did get the plugs changed though. Again Thanks
