Mufflers on bike - lean?

Post by The Bus Driver » Sun Jun 14, 2015 1:56 pm

Hey Wing Admin,I have a question. I have a set of Hollywood mufflers that I pulled off my '97 SE before I sold it.I know these mufflers will fit on my '98.But the question I have is will I be running the engine in a lean condition running these mufflers along with a K&N air filter?

Mufflers don't generally effect lean/rich the air filter might if it's too open..I'd put it together take her out on the highway and then check the plugs for condition..pull off and check the without letting her idle much. Pull clutch, turn the bike off and coast to a stop...???
HAD LOTS OF GOLDWING 75-83
NOW INTO 1500'S..RIDING A 1998 SE

FAIR WINDS,
