Water pump hoses

Postby guitarzan » Sat Jun 27, 2015 1:13 pm

Hi,
I have a 1994 Goldwing SE 1500 and there are 2 hoses coming off of the water pump, the hoses run down from the radiators to the water pump. I cant remember which one goes where. I looked in the service manual and I cant find anything. As you're looking at the front of the bike at the hoses coming down from the upper radiator section can anyone tell me where the right hose goes on at the water pump? Their the smaller hose. Thank you.
I should have taken a picture before I took them off.

Frank

I looked at the Service manual and see something different.
To me it appears that there is a lower "Y" hose that attaches to each of the radiators and an outlet in the middle that goes to the water pump.
There is also a smaller upper bypass hose that goes between the two.
If this doesn't match what you are seeing, let me know and I'll look again, or go out to the bike and see if I can tell.

I looked at another GL1500 Service Manual that I had and found the attached pictures.
They show the two hoses that you are looking for.
