Turn signal lights come on dimly when clutch is let out

Postby burntice51 » Tue Jun 30, 2015 5:12 pm

I have a 1994 Wing 1500 SE. Suddenly I have been having an issue. When I am driving the 2 turn signal lights come on very dim and when I put on a turn signal either right or left the turn signal light blinks very fast like a bulb is out. But when the clutch is pulled in the blinkers work correctly. However as I drive and go to stop at a light and pull in the clutch, the dim signal lights go away and everything is normal, but when I go to let the clutch out the signal lights come back on dimly. Anyone have any thoughts ??????

The plug on the starter solenoid fell apart. The one that has the 30 amp fuse in it so I just hard wired it and everything was fine. This just started

I had the same problem? I took off the trunk removed all of the lights from the saddle bags and trunk?
what I found, the large electric plug under the seat was not making a good connection?
Go to your local auto store and buy some Dielectric grease, the plug is the one on the left side of
bike under seat, seperate plug, put the dieletric grease in plug put plug back together.
I did this over one month ago and I have had no issues.
GOOD LUCK.

I just wanted to let you know that I did what you said. Found the plug under the seat in a large plastic box type thing. Took it apart and cleaned it, snapped it back together and it works fine. Thank you for your wisdom.
Jim
