I have a 1994 Goldwing SE 1500 and I just changed the fuel filter and air filter and I was looking into the tops of the carburetors and had a thought. Can I start the bike up and while the air filter is out spray SeaFoam Spray Top Engine Cleaner and Lube directly into the carbs in a controlled manner so the bike wont stall out. I was thinking that it might clean the carbs and the engine out too. Is my thinking aright.
Tomorrow I want to see if I can post a couple of pictures here of what my old air filter looks like and some other sections of my bike. I couldn't believe I was able to drive it home.

No harm in doing that, but I would put some seafoam into the fuel tank and run it thru. Use half a can to the tank and then use the rest at the next fill up.
