Firecreek GL1500 Gauge Panel
Came across this deal in another forum. Thought I'd share the deal. These are apparently new old stock of Firecreek Gauge Panels that are going really cheap. No longer available from the mfg. I ordered one for my self. Saw that gauges can be installed, or even a radio.

It might just be because I haven't had enough coffee for my brain to be working yet, but what is this? An ignition switch cover?

Yes, it's a replacement for the "bridge" cover that goes over top of the ignition key:

The difference being that it has spaces to mount two round gauges - voltmeters, gear position indicators, etc.

Dude's getting a lot of advertising. I see he's sold 7 in the last day. Actually, that's not a bad price considering he wants 70 bucks for a voltmeter...

Better order quick if you want one!
After the Ebay site was shown on another GW website, this dude has sold a bunch--------- problem is----- he has gone from $15 to $19 to $22 for the panel.
I am in total agreement that the price is still unbelievably great------- and a lot of GL1500 riders have spread the word , thus increasing his sales-------------- BUT WHY START GOUGING ON THE ORIGINAL PRICE ?????????????????????????? He reportedly has around 200 left. Oh well, maybe I'm missing something!

It's called GREED. Be thankful you don't live in California. The gas prices here are way higher than the rest of the country and we are given knee-jerk reasons that reek of corporations thinking we are stupid. They report record breaking profits and want us to believe there is a shortage that is driving up prices.

Re: Firecreek GL1500 Gauge Panel
I bought one for my bike at $22. I am having a difficult time finding gauges for it. I want a air temp guage and a voltage meter both digital. The VM is easy to find, but the air temp seems to be difficult. I noticed someone had installed a shade over the top of it to prevent reflecting on the windscreen. Where do you get those?Fiberthree wrote:It's called GREED. Be thankful you don't live in California. As for CA gas prices, you can thank your state government and governor "Moonbeam" for that. We have the highest gas taxes in the country and the worst roads. Also, all gas sold in CA must be refined in CA and we only have 1/2 dozen refineries. If one breaks, prices go up as the did about a month ago.

Re: Firecreek GL1500 Gauge Panel
Dont' get me started about stupid stuff in California...
I just purchased one of these, should be here next wed. I got mine to install a stereo into (if it will fit)... I'm not impressed with the stock Stereo. I've had to chase a lot of solder connections at the connector and the cb headset still doesn't work, although I have audio if I use the speakers. That, and I want bluetooth!!!!!!; I had it on my '82 and it was so handy with the GPS on my phone.
When I paint the bike, I will have to un install the cb, find the panels, and find an interstate tank over (so I can take the stock stereo out), Or, I'll take the wood, bondo and airbrush approach (no matter how hard I try, my bikes are not safe from my air brush)...
Love the bike, just not how integrated that stuff is.
