Changing Fluid in Clutch

Postby guitarzan » Wed Jul 15, 2015 6:11 pm

Hi, I need help. I'm in the garage and I'm changing my clutch fluid. I pumped out the reservoir and I was wiping it out and I don't know where this little clip thing came from but all of a sudden it was in the reservoir and I don't know where the heck it goes. It kind of fits in the hole where the fluid goes into the line??????

Yes, it does.

What you have there is the protector (Item # 10)

Zoom in on the parts fiche to see how it is oriented in the opening.

Thank you guys so much. I didn't do a thing until I heard from you guys. I just figured out how to get a picture off my phone and on to here. Man, I just really have to take pictures but I looked in there and I didn't see anything that could move. Well I learned my lesson. Than you all again. Now I can go out and finish. Being new at this stuff really sucks. I thought it was something that maybe I picked up in the paper towel. Thanks guys Oh a picture of what my bike looks like. Not now, I have it all apart and I hope I can get it back together.

Now that you've got a picture of your bike, you need to put it as your avatar.
Just go into your profile, click on the edit avatar and upload the photo.
