Will a set of Progressive springs for an 03 1800 fit the 1500 forks?

Thanks. I had already checked the part numbers. The 1500 says not to use the spacer and the 1800 says to use the stock spacer. I have a set of new Progressive springs I can get for free that were bought for an early 1800 and never used because the guy triked the bike. Will they work in my late model 1500?
