LED DRIVING / CORNERING LIGHT BULB

Postby Uncle Fester » Tue Aug 18, 2015 1:44 pm

I know alot of us shop at www.cyclemax.com , but most of us do not go there until we need a part, so I am sharing a "new" find there. . . .

They have released a new LED bulb that replaces the fat, expensive and hard to find bulb so many of our GL1500s use down low in the cornering / driving lights. They are kind of pricey until you consider you SHOULD never have to replace them, and they are a 50watt bulb, so should be much brighter. . . .

They actually have two versions.

SCML50WC for '98-'00

SCML50WC-2 for '90-'97 (the one you posted).

There is a difference in the mounting flange.

You show to have a 96, so yes, I would assume that you would need the one with the -2.
The other link I posted is for others that might have the '98-'00 bikes.
