1995 Honda Goldwing Trike

Postby scooter051964 » Tue Aug 25, 2015 10:35 pm

I have a chance to buy a 1995 Honda Goldwing trike with around 29,000 miles. It seems to be in excellent shape except for one detail. Owner daughter says there is no reverse. I do not know Goldwings enough to know if this correct. There is a lever or what appears to be one on the shifter side above the engine. Did Honda put a dummy lever there? Can a 1995 GW without reverse be retofitted with reverse? If it can no is $5000 a good, bad or ugly price for this trike? Any thoughts please email?

Hello and welcome to the forum.
$5,000.00 isn't bad for the trike, who makes the conversion? Is it an add one set of wheels? Home made conversion? Can you post a pic for us.
If there is a lever the reverse may not be working. Aspencades and SE models had reverse the Interstate did not. There is no lever on the Interstate model, no cruise control, no air pump and digital display on the dash.

The trike is a California Sidecar conversion. I'm going to ask the seller to try and better pictures of odometer. I think they misread and it is 102,8401 miles not 28,401. I know for a Wing thats barely broken. inBTW My wife would LOVE the color of your trike. We ever came into money she wants a little scooter painted that color with the PowerPuff girls on it. I would love to have a 59 Caddy convertible that color. Beaucoup $$$$$$ LOL

Thank You,Scooter

If it has the lever, then it has reverse. Whether or not the reverse is actually functioning is another thing.
