Trike brake lights

Postby edgus347 » Sun Sep 06, 2015 7:32 am

I bought a 1992 GL1500 trike a little while ago and it runs great, but the brake lights don't work. Someone messed with the wiring and the turn signals are lit all the times and no trunk running lights and no brake lights. When it cools off in the shop I'm going to have to go through the wiring harness and find the problem. Also the trailer harness was in bad shape, every time I shook it everything in the tail would go on and off.

Na, just general information on a pain in the but problem that I have. I have the wiring sch. so when it cool's down I'll work on it. I live in Texas and it's hot in the shop and I'm 64 and don't feel like working on it in the heat.

The fact that the wiring is so poor that shaking it makes the lights flash to me would cause me to rip it all out and start over. This is what I had to do both with the back end light wiring on my GL1500, as well as all the wiring in my trailer.
