Do you have a passenger push to talk button? If so, can you transmit from that connection? Does TX show up in the window when you try to transmit?
Just like any other knob on the Gold Wing that doesn't work, spray contact cleaner in it, Hold down the talk knob and spray up inside with contact cleaner, put a rag under it to catch the access.

try turning up your intercom and see if you can hear yourself in your helmet over the intercom, you should be able to hear you talk with the intercom volume turned up, if you still cannot hear yourself talk I would say you have a bad mic or loose connection on your headset.

If the TX is showing up on the screen, then it is transmitting (if the antenna is not connected correctly, or the antenna coax wire is damaged, the TX will not show up).

So when you say "won't transmit" do you mean others are not hearing you talk over the CB? Do they hear an empty carrier (i.e. a transmission, but no sound)?

As others have said, does your intercom function normally? Can you hear yourself talk over it?
