Coolant leak update...

Post by n5926g » Fri Sep 18, 2015 5:27 pm

Afternoon guy,s,
Finally pulled the lower cowl off the 1500 to see where the coolant is coming from....There are two "tabs" on the timing belt cover bottom(one on each side) and the coolant drips are on both...Is there anything under that cover that can leak coolant? or is this just "migrating" from somewhere else?Water pump appears to be fine, and no leaks on the radiator hoses that are evident....

Check out this thread , viewtopic.php?f=14&t=9774 , On how to replace timing belts on a 1500 . I did not see anything that could leak in there,
so my GUESS would be it is migrating from another point. . . . Best of luck !
Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do.
