CB Radio install????

Postby n5926g » Thu Oct 01, 2015 5:31 pm

Afternoon guy,s...NOT sure how I did this, but I evidently removed the CB from the GL-1500 before I got her clothes off...its been about 6 months since the "defrocking"....I looked at a post a day or so ago,and it appears that the CB is actually installed prior to putting on the plastic....I do remember it was a real "BUGGER" to get out. ...so I guess my question here is......Am I supposed to install the CB PRIOR to the "clothing"??????? :?:

There is an installation manual in the Manuals section here that will probably help.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

The CB is installed into the left inner cowl piece before that cowl piece is installed. So when removing the left inner cowl piece, the CB comes with it. So yes, install the CB into the left inner cowl, then install the cowl. Once it's "almost" in place, plug the CB's connectors back into the back of it.

Why do I find myself wanting to see a video of how you removed the CB with out undressing her ( as you put it ) lol Thats about like taking the wifes panties off with out removing her pants ! It can be done, but yeah. . . . .
Reputation is what other people know about you. Honor is what you know about yourself. Our stress about it happens when the two aren't the same. Be true to yourself and to hell with what everyone else thinks!
