Thank you "Mother Honda"

Thank you "Mother Honda" for putting the crash/drop bars on the GL-1500.

G'day to everyone,

I was dribbling through a shopping centre car park following two cages, the woman in the parked spot saw them, but not me! She pulled out hitting my front right crash bar then tearing off the lid of the saddlebag, busting up the saddlebag as well busted the side cover, tail light, middle tail light, the side cover in front of the batter side cover with the chrome top cover and the "L" shaped wind deflector at the radiator outlet.

I reckon that if the crash bar was not there my leg would have been turned into Corn Flakes. She abused the $%^& out of me and drove off. :x

I am amazed that I kept her upright and not put her down. but I am thankful that I was not injured. Funny thing is that my grandson did not believe me that I had a bingle as I was not in hospital. :D :D :D

Now my beloved 15 is off the road for a few months whilst I chase up some Tupperware, and it seems that the 88 Phantom Grey was not so popular as there seems to be very little of that colour on e-bay.

Oh well, "Always look on the bright side of life" it gives me the opportunity to fit and test my modified wiring harness which I was going to do next winter.

Happy and Safe riding to All,
Regards, Peter.

Are the parts repairable?

I also hope you got the registration number of the car?

Glad you were not hurt. Good luck on finding some spare parts as well.
