Radio and Clock Display Screen

I have a 1998 1500 A, The screen that displays Radio Stations and clock time, is partially distorted making it impossible to distinguish the display, I have inquired about screen but have no luck in securing OEM parts that is discontinued In A/se meter area, can any one give me some ideas to fix this or replace the part ? Thanks

Sounds like you have the dreaded (and deadly) black half moon on your LCD display?

If so, there is no known fix and you'll have to obtain a newer one from eBay!
