Hazard Switch

Postby Lonny » Sat Nov 07, 2015 2:18 pm

Does anyone have the part number for the Emergency Flasher Switch? My Fog Light Switch was not stuck but melted on and would not turn off. It has a single contact and the flasher switch has a two contact switch. That would take twice the amprage if used for the fog lights, and added wiring to the other side of the switch, but can't find the part number for the Hazard switch, Please Help, Thanks 2006 GL1800

Unfortunately there is no part number for just the hazard switch, because it is only sold as an entire assembly - all the turn signals, high beam, horn and hazard switch, along with the wiring harness. That part number is 35200-MT8-772

Radio shack has a switch that is a replacement for the flasher and running lights

That picture is a GL1800 left knee panel, where the hazard switch is located, and yes, it that one can be replaced with that Radio Shack switch. On the GL1500, the hazard switch is on the left handlebar switch cluster, and is a small, custom switch that has no aftermarket replacement.

His profile says 94 1500 but the end of his post says Please Help, Thanks 2006 GL1800
