Took the Wing for a nice 500 mile round trip to Key West this past weekend. Had a great ride and a wonderful time. The wife enjoyed it too.

Wife and I rode to Key West a few years ago. Had a great time also. The only place I have ever seen rain drops with not a cloud in the sky.

Dingdong,
You're right about the rain... we get that same thing here in Naples all the time. What I find more interesting is that they say we are in a "drought" when we have had 40+ inches of rain. I was born and raised in San Diego and lived there for 58 years... where we got 2 to 5 inches of rain in a YEAR... here we get 5 inches in an HOUR !.... how is that a "drought"?... but now that we have been "retired" here for some 8 years we are getting used to it.

One of our best trips. Took A1A from St. Augustine all the way to Key West. Would probably never go all the way down A1A again, but it's worth doing one time. Loved the overseas highway. BTW-there is a cd available that narrates the trip from MM 126 all the way to MM 0. Tells a little history and places to check out along the way. I converted it to an mp3 and ran it through my Garmin.
