passenger wind deflector ????

Postby nitefuzz » Fri Jan 08, 2016 12:43 am

I have seen some wings with a wind deflector that is mounted behind the passenger seat that sticks up approx. 10 to 12 inches above the back rest. What info is out here on this and does it help the passenger with wind buffering. Any comments would be appreciated.

No longer available as a new part.
Somebody might still have one laying around.
However, I was one of few that bought one and found out a few things
1. Approx. $120 for a piece of plastic and 2 moly bolts.
2. A "bear" to get the backrest remounted after attaching this "thing"
3. Bike cover no longer fit.
4. Unless you passenger is a midget, it has no affect on reducing "back draft"
5. It's truly ugly on the bike!
6. Throwing it in the trash = priceless!
BTW, they were made for 1800's.
