Air hose from air compressor

Dumb question! What is the air hose for? Airing the shocks? Is there an adapter so you can air tires, air mattress or whatever?

The air hose is for airing up tires. There are different hoses available. Some have just a screw on fitting, to go on the valve stem. Others have a quick release locking head (like most bicycle hand pumps would have).

To air up the shocks, do not have this hose attached cuz any air that is pumped will go out the hose first and never get to the shocks.

Its NOT a dumb question if you dont know the answer. It IS a dumb question if you DO know the answer and ask anyway.

Forgot to mention that it is a very low volume pump so it may take awhile to air up a tire if its very low. In that case, itd be best to stop every few minutes and let the pump cool back down.

Or...do what I do, and instead of risking burning out your $200 suspension pump by pumping up a flat tire, carry a small $20 compressor in your bag that can be plugged into the bike when required.
