Does anyone know where to get a gl1500 LCD i would to buy one new but cannot find one anywhere .any help would appreciated i know they are hard to get but i thought someone might know of one Thanks Tom

the time is not right and sometimes it goes blank just thought if i could pick one up to have on hand when this one goes .its a 97 and i think that was the worst year for them i hate to buy one on ebay only to find its no better than mine.

I just did mine was having the same trouble apparently the 96-97 wings are bad for it

this is what i did on the weekend to mine

it describes only doing the main circuit board which i did and stops the lcd blanking out when wet now but clock still losing time i would recomend doing the board behind the lcd screen itself as well i will do that next time i have the dash off to replace speakers with better ones and led bulbs

yeah i tried that fix unfortunately it didn't help .looks like second hand is the only option

oh ok bugger as i think it maybe the 2nd circuit behind the lcd that causes the clock prob

I think they are still available new - one of our users bought one new recently (last July) - you can read about it here. Any LCD panel from any year will work. Price online is showing $420:

i read that post and started looking a while ago tried cyclemax with no luck. so far tried every honda dealer i could find. they stopped making them
