I have a 1999 Goldwing 1500. I want to remove the front fender but can't figure out hoe to remove the chrome plastic fork cover. Can anyone give me some advice?......

Are you talking about the little chrome shield that sits on top of the fork brace, or the wheel covers on each side of the wheel?

For the fork shield, there are two plastic plugs that you take a small screwdriver and carefully remove to get to the allen screws below.
The wheel covers have 3 nuts holding them on. Two below the middle and one at the top.
To remove the top one, you have to remove the small covers behind the forks where the brake lines go through.
They just pull off, but be careful of the grommets.
It's never too late to have a happy childhood!

Thanks. I saw the covers over the Allen screws but didn't think they just pushed on. I appreciate your help.
