noise

whistling noise coming from front of engine haven't heard before, just put new timing belts on what could it be?

If the noise just started after changing the belts,I would take a look at the tensioners and the tension you set. It may be too tight. Getting the correct tension is a bit tricky, they are not like automotive belts. As I recall, it is something like 4 lbs. of pull at the mid-point of the belt, creating a certain amount of measured movement on the belt. That's not much pressure. But the fact that it started after the belt replacement, if that is the case, points you in the right direction for the problem.

Pretty much what I'm hearing from mine as well. Since I have to pull the sides off tomorrow anyway and reset the idle screws, I'll check my tension too. Don't think I set it 'that' tight, but one never knows.
