Ebay usually has a few replacements but be careful. And be be prepared to pay a hefty price. A lot cheaper than a new one tho.

I assume you mean your volume is low? Try some electrical cleaner. Or, contact Sierra Electronics and have them go thru it. They know what they're doing. 1 week turnaround, $125 for most things, hard to beat that.

There are kits available to use a car/marine stereo of your choice, if that would better suit you.

I have seen a few posts regarding replacements of the factory units with aftermarket units. The results are sometimes good, and sometimes less than I would accept from an aesthetic standpoint. Just do a search of the threads. It shouldn't be too hard to find them. But my 2 cents.....send it to Sierra Electronics as was suggested in the second post. Then you will maintain all the integrated aspects of the OEM unit, and the visible appearance that it actually belongs on the bike.

I had a similar problem until I realised that the sound was switched to come out of the speakers and not my helmet ear pieces.

If it is just low volume, maybe your mute button/switch needs a good cleaning or if it is the rear speakers check out the fader control. More info would be helpful.

Ok my fader control is bad and the wires going to it are bad too so that's why I was trying to find a new way to listen to music to replace the factory radio

If it's low volume the first thing to check is the 5 amp fuse , marked backup, in the relay box to the rear of the fuse box.
