Handlebar Controls 2000 GL1500 SE

Does anyone have the service Manual that shows how to route the wiring for both the right and left handlebar controls?
I need to replace them asap.

Thanks

Someone will probably post it soon, but if not as you remove the old ones just take note of how they are routed.

Well that's the problem, I have the new left controls on and can trace the wiring to inside the fairing but that is were it stops and I am not sure were it goes from there and what I have to take apart to get there.

Thanks for your help

Shop manual shows removing the inner fairing covers to access the harness plugs. There are connector holders above the cooling fans. Nothing in the manual shows the path of the harnesses.

Thanks for the help, I have most of the top center off but I am stuck with left side panel (Were the CB is), I think I have all the screws undone put there seems to be something still holding the panel near the left side of the big air vent.

What is the problem with your controls? Most of the time, a good cleaning of the switches and they are back to working.

Found that the Hazard switch had broken apart in the pod and was shorting out the horn and turn signals, It's all fixed now, Had a great friend and fellow rider come over and help me replace the controls.

Thanks Everyone for you help!!
