suspension inop

Hello all,I'm new here but been reading your posts,etc.. I have a 1989 GL 1500,just got it,should susp be on lcd?Clock,radio all work.

Hi!

Yep, (turn key on...) push p.check and you should see kPa reading on lower part lcd where clock is seen.
If you want adjust, press p.check + increase or p.check + decrease...

Make sure you don't start the bike as it will not display when running, just turn the key to on position.

My 97 SE will display and adjust when running. Seems like if you have to shut the bike down to check it and adjust that would not be a good thing.

Thanks guys,the air sys works! Looks like a shock is leaking :( have to replace ujoint yoke anyhow...time I get this thing done I'll be able to share some of the great advise like the rest of you!
