Adding Clutch Fluid

What's the steps for adding clutch fluid to the GL 1500 SE :?:

Remove the two cross point screws from the clutch master cylinder cover. Remove the cover, set plate and diaphragm. Open a new bottle of DOT 4 fluid and pour in the amount you want to add. Reinstall all the parts in reverse order that you removed them.

Why is it low would be a question to ask. Is there a leak somewhere? If it's dirty you should flush it.

I didn't want to get into it. I figured he would ask if he was interested in knowing. I didn't want to overload him with information. I just answered the question he posed.
