Idle control cable

Postby Jegrover1 » Thu Jul 14, 2016 12:45 pm

This might be a "No way Out of it" but I've either got a broken cable to the idle screw or somehow it got screwed up whilst screwing around with the cruise control, but Does anybody know how to fix this without tearing the air filter housing all the way out? I found that one of the screws that is hold the base of the filter housing has had the slots stripped out and I don't want to be drilling it out in there. (for once it wasn't me who stripped them. Must have been previous owner) Anyway - any ideas?

I am afraid you are going to have to remove the air cleaner to get at it.
