rear speakers added but need to have a fader

Postby glenwegener » Sun Jul 24, 2016 8:00 am

I want to add rear speakers and change out the front ones. People talk about a fader on the bike. Where would it be and do all wings have it? I am very confused with this. Help needed. picture of it would be nice if anyone has it. Thanks ( oh, 1989 wing)

Several different ones to pick from. Some kits come with the fader switch and directions. It's been a long time since I added speakers to a 1500 (1992) but I think the connection for the fader is behind the left false tank panel.

You can install it most anywhere convenient but I think the most popular location is between the ignition lock and the Goldwing badge in the bottom of the recessed area below the ignition. That's where mine is and is easy to adjust without being distracting.
