Ignition Switch

Postby buckodub » Thu Aug 06, 2009 9:45 am

My key will no larger turn the ignition swith. Do I have a new Key made (and try that), try and clear it out, or do I need to replace it? If its the later, is it an easy job.

Thanks

Does the key still work any of the other locks?

It does still work the trunk, sometimes it might need a little giggle. Although the trunk can take a couple of trys every once in a while, the other switch went from working with no problems, to not working at all. The last two times I tried to take it out, it took a good 5-6 minutes. Have you ever had to replace one? And if so, is it very difficult?

I appreciate the assistance.
