Hard to judge the price with the photo given so can't offer a lot of feedback for that. I like the list of things you did to the bike. Shows its been maintained. My biggest suggestion is take several good photos. Front, back, both sides and some closeups showing how the bike looks at a closer view. And definitely take photos of the trailer. And make the photos large enough to see some detail. They dont have to be real big but small photos wont help much either. I'd call about a bike that had a lot of photos and a not so great description sooner than a bike with a good description and one photo. Imho this will help a lot more than lowering the price .... to a certain point. Your price seems pretty low right now. Good luck with your sale. :D

That is a good price for the bike. If you are a member of the GWRRA I would put an ad in their monthly magazine. Might also try Craigslist in a few surrounding cities if you haven't already. I wouldn't go any lower than the three grand and change that you are advertising.

This is the wrong time of the year to be selling a bike. I tried to sell me 1200 this time last year and could not even get a call for the price that I was asking. I had 2 calls trying to really low ball me on a price. I had to wait till this spring to sell the wing and I still didn't get the price that I wanted, but I did sell it. Did not get a call till the 1st of May, from the listing put in March. Best of luck selling the wing. Gas is cheap and people are not buying bikes right now.

Can be hard trying to sell now, especially with a flooded market. Been trying to sell my 89 for 6 months and finally sold last night. Two ruptured vertibra in neck has made riding difficult and this summers heat has not helped. It's all good since I still go a practically new 2002 Honda Shadow, been packed away since new.

Never underestimate the value of lots of high-quality photos when selling something! As one who buys stuff online all the time, even if something looks like a good deal, without really good pictures I tend to pass it by - often, it indicates that either the item isn't all that good (and poor pictures tend to hide that), or the person isn't really serious.

By way of illustration, I recently sold a new-but-unworn motorcycle helmet (not enough room for my J&M headset), for roughly what I paid for it. It was in our local online-buy/sell/trade, but I'd only put in two small photos, and it stayed there, gathering hundreds of views, for a month, but not a single taker.

I decided to add more, higher-quality pics (8 of 'em, from all sides, crystal clear, with great lighting!). Within 24 hours, I had several requests to buy it, sight unseen, beyond the posted pictures. I even had a bit of a bidding war going on between two of the prospective buyers!

Love the color!

Add in the magazine as well as the local chapter's newsletter and district newsletter .... and maybe attend a chapter meeting or social and ride the bike if that's doable?

105K isn't a lot opf miles on aGL1500 that's maintained .... I know several that double that and are always ready to go.

That is a very good price for that bike if it looks as good in person as it does in the pictures. Believe it or not, even though it is a '93, many banks will still make a loan on that bike. The loan value of just the bike by itself is almost what you are asking, so with a trailer included, you are on the low side in my opinion. Timing is key when it comes to bikes, boats, etc. If you don't have to sell right away, I would be patient, spring will be best time for buyers to bite.

Congratulations. You found the right match. I'm sure the buyer is just as excited that they found the perfect bike for them.
I know that you had it listed several places, where did the final buyer see it?

It's never too late to have a happy childhood!
