I don't know the answer, but if you pop one of the speakers out, it will very likely be printed on the back of it.

I think it's 15 watts...and even worst, they're only 1-way speakers...real **** sound...if you like good powerful sound, I suggest you upgrade like I did...I just explained the whole upgrade in another topic a few minutes ago (look for AM/FM Cassette....)

If I remember, they're 8 watt speakers. I replaced them with 25 watt speakers that I bought at the auto store. I've ridden in sunshine and in rain with them for a year now and the weather doesn't affect the speakers but if you wanted to, you could put a piece of plastic over them, like perhaps a piece of garbage bag. It won't hurt the sound...

Get them at the auto store. It's cheaper than goldwing accessory places....... only thing is, take an old one out to take with you to make sure the screw holes line up. Some do, some don't...

Or, before you install them, spray the cones with a couple coats of silicone sealant (spray can).

Silicone is not a good idea. Have you ever used that stuff on your tires, and then sometime down the road, you notice some cracking in the sidewalls??? That's because silicone dries out the moisture in the rubber... A friend who details cars told me about that and it's true.

If the cones are made of paper, then it seals them quite well. If they're already made of rubber or other waterproof material, then they don't need to be sealed at all.
