Side cover

Postby toolman034 » Tue Aug 11, 2009 8:23 pm

I bought a 1996 Aspencade there is a chrome piece missing on one of the side covers. I think it is a scuff guard for the passenger. It is 2 pieces one on the saddlebag and one on the side cover. I have checked on the oem sites online as well as aftermarket and I cannot seem to locate one. I have looked at the bikes on ebay and I only see a couple of bikes with this feature. Can anyone tell me where I can get one of these?

A couple months ago, this guy replied to an inquiry I made on the GWRRA board. I got a left side cover and ...the scuff pad. I haven't put them together yet but in Wisconsin, it's a long winter. Here's his websight, he seems to have a lot of parts laying around.
