1500 induction

I had a 99 se catch my eye yesterday, I ride an 86 sei did Honda
ever fuel inject a 1500?

NO. The 1800's are fuel injected.

There is one GL1500, modified by the owner. Unfortunately the pictures can not be reached for some reason.

1800 it is then, carbs are for lawn equipment

Don't underestimate the carbs, there are many airplanes and helicopters still using them.

Very true :) , the primary reason manufacturers went to FI was EPA mandated emission requirements.

just don`t have the problems with alcohol when fuel injected.
the carbs don`t like the stuff,
since the auto industry has gone fuel injection the amount of
valve jobs I have had to do has dropped very dramatically.
carbs are always plugging up and getting needles sticking and
flooding out. just don`t have those problems with fuel injection.
I own two street rods that very seldom get driven, both are fuel injected
they can sit for months without being started and driven without issues,
we can`t say that for carbs. my list of things to get done is long enough
without adding jacking with the 4 carbs on my bike.

Just another side note, GL1500 models do not require valve adjustment, while the GL1800 models require.
