When you say no voltage to the rear lights, how are you measuring the voltage? If you have lost the earth connection to the rear bulbs, neither bulb will work and if you connect a multimeter across the bulb it will show zero volts. If you connect the negative lead of the multimeter to the battery negative terminal and then measure the voltage (positive to the bulb) do you get 12 volts? As both bulbs are not working (and the front's are) I would suspect a bad earth as that is the only common circuit for the two rear bulbs.. Try taking a piece of wire, connect one end to the battery negative terminal and then touch the other end of the wire to the bulb mounting and see if the bulb lights up. If it does you need to find the break in the earth circuit or run a permanant new earth lead.

Try swapping out the flasher relay with the turn signal relay under the rear trunk. Remove screws and trunk will raise enough to swap or replace one.

I really doubt it's the relay, normally the front and rear indicators are wired together, as the front lights flash but not th rear, it has to be a wiring issue not a relay issue.

got right going. I tried connecting neg of battery to socket but no help. Noticed that it started blinking while moving the wires. No luck on left though. tried same on left but the ground did not help. Is there a connection in the trunk like where the locking mechanism is.
