Push button switches

Postby bigguy_362001 » Sun Oct 17, 2010 10:51 pm

HI I am new to this I have been reading and learning here. I just bought a 96 Goldwing and I have a problem with the switches. like the Cruise control that has 2 positions like to be on is in and out is off. but i have a problem when I push it in and also the mute one on the cb control i have trouble getting them to come back out. my Question is there some kind of lubricant that I camn put on the. I live in Arizona so it could be the heat. any suggestions would be great full

Joe

I had the same problem. WD40 or a silicone based (thin) oil will cure it. Simply spray on the switch, operate a few times and voila.
