Rear shock absorber loss

Post by Phil76750 » Thu May 10, 2018 3:09 am

Hello everyone
I found that duo, inflation at 4 bars or more, on the road, my rear shock loses its load, say after 50 kms.
On the crutch, this does not happen (which seems logical to me)
Before dismantling the electro-valves, would anyone have an idea?
Thank you for your answers

I would get a spray bottle, fill it with water, and add a bit of dish soap. Pump up the suspension, and spray the soapy water on the hoses and fittings around the shock. Look for bubbles.

Sorry for my late answer.
I took advantage of the dismantling of the Dunlop rear tire replaced by BRIDGESTONE EXEDRA G702 RF 160/80 R16 80 H which I would give you news.
Finally, with soapy water no leak.
I dismounted the hose between the solenoid valve and the pneumatic damper. Presence of oil? I cleaned the hose and reassembled. Maybe drops of oil have leaked the solenoid valve?
To be continued.

A suivre.
