Here is the poop straight from the manual.

Reverse System

SYMPTOM DIAGNOSIS
Reverse system doesn't operate and the
reverse indicator doesn't light.

1) No power to reverse control unit;
2) No ground to control module;
3) Bad side stand switch input;
4) No neutral position input from gearshift sensor
5) Incorrect oil pressure switch input;
6) Bad speed limiter fuse (65A);
7) Faulty reverse control unit. Replace with
known good reverse control unit.

Thanks heaps for that, hard to workout problems with no manual..

Will look at that, I have looked at most of those. I find that there is no power to a large fuse under the seat, so I am working in that area as well. I am trying to get my rear lights to come on when the key is on, in the park position the rear lights come on, so apart from the misses adding to my xmas worklist the bike is being demanding,

Thanks for eveything,

Blue Dog

Hi Blue dog,
I take it you are on the main stand while working on the lights. If so have you simply left your side stand in the down position, this will indicate everything but not give reverse.

Blue dog, check your PM. I think you'll like what you find. ;)
