Gl1500 RPM Surge
I am getting an RPM surge at idel when she is up to tempurture, up and down. Could be a vacuum line, any ideas.

Yes there could be a leak in a vacuum line. There are numerous lines associated with the carbs and most are a bear to get to. There is one with a 90* elbow on the left bank above the rear spark plug that has a tendency to crack. "I'm told" that the idle speed adjuster can be a cause of this problem also. The adjuster is to the right of the gas cap. If you lubricate the cable and turn the adjuster in and out a few times and then reset the idle speed it can solve the problem. Then there is also the old reliable Seafoam thru the carbs that may help also.
